SAP has recently announced that the maintenance for SAP Identity Management (IDM) will end in 2027 - with an optional period of extended maintenance until the end of 2030. As a result, SAP IDM customers have three to six years to migrate from SAP IDM to another solution.
In this article, we discuss the potential impact and the challenges for the transition to another solution for customer of SAP IDM.

The existing transactions for displaying and maintaining tables (SE16, SE16n, SM30 etc.) check by default only for the authorization group of the table (S_TABU_DIS) or tables (S_TABU_NAM).
With SUIM's Table Access Enforcer (TAE) you can easily restrict access to tables down to the content level (e.g. company code). Using a maintenance view, you can limit access flexibly and without development effort.
