Overview

SAP users often struggle with the ergonomics of traditional SAP-GUI interfaces.
SUIM's Launchpad Designer is an independent add-on that offers users an intuitive interface, making it easier and faster for them to run different types of applications. LD is not restricted to SUIM applications and can be embedded into various transactions, reports, queries, websites (URL), webdynpros, Fiori Apps and MIME objects (images, videos, pdfs) to generate HTML pages displaying your customized content.

SUIM's LD is fully customizable, allowing you to group your frequently used applications in a dedicated launchpad - no development required. HTML pages are efficient and role-based, making them highly user-friendly.

Flexibility

Three template-pages are delivered as standard. LD's templates are based on CSS classes, meaning they can be extended at will.

LD's configuration is intuitive and easy-to-handle thanks to the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) wizard.

One Launchpad for all your preferred applications

LD makes it is possible to design one launchpad for each complex application. It allows you to group all the transactions, services, helps, tutorials or other launchpad-pages inside one or many pages. Your users will have a single point of entry to use all authorized components of the application.

Group-specific variants

Create individual variants for different type of groups. Example of a use-case: We would like to create two variants for the compliance enforcer:

System Admins: Tiles for customizing and configuration
Audit Teams: Tiles reporting and monitoring

Content pages

Content pages are used to group elements into categories. Feel free to define as many groups as you need, each group consists an icon, a title and a short description.

Custom design options

Define individual tile pages and add your company logo. Thanks to CSS transitions, you can create effects when positioning the mouse on a tile. The following design options are available:

Title (application/role) and version
Company logo
Landing page image, lead, and colors
Sections and section lead
Color, icon, and on-click event of tiles
CSS styles: e.g. rounded tiles, effects, and grid layouts

Documentation

LD provides an extended documentation and help functionality. Each element (e.g. transaction, Fiori App) can be linked to documentation or a warning.

Translation wizards

The translation wizards offers an easy way to translate texts and elements into different languages (e.g. workspace translations).
